Eligibility for Application

  • Applicant should have at least one of the following conditions.
    • Foreigners who graduated from a high school in Korea or abroad whose parents are not citizens of Korea.
    • Foreigners who graduated from elementary school, middle school and high school outside of Korea.
  • Applicant should have at least one of the following conditions.
    • Foreigners holding an adove Grade 3 in TOPIK conducted by the Korea Institute of Curriculum & Evaluation or in KLPT by Korean Language Society.
    • Foreigners who have completed an above Grade 3 in the Korean Language Education Course in Korea or other countries. (Student who are expected to complete can apply)
    • Foreigners recognized as fluent Korean speakers like Chinese-Koreans

Required Documents

  • Documents should be submitted in the following order. All documents in the other foreign languages must have a Korean or English translation
    • Application for Admission
    • Curriculum Vitae
    • Self-introduction
    • Study plan
    • Affidavit of Financial Support
    • An original copy, a photocopy and a translation of the Graduation Certificate(or Certificate of Expected Graduation) form high school.
    • Transcript (notary needed)
    • A Photocopy of ID card or passport of the applicant’s parents.
    • A Photocopy of passport
    • Certificate of Balance
  • It must show that the applicant’s financial sponsor has deposited US $ 10,000 or more
  • It Must show Financial sponsor employment certificate and income certificate
    • Application Fee 50,000 Won(US $ 50.00)
  • Chinese Applicants who need to obtain a Visa only
    • A Photocopy of the applicant and his/her parents Residence ID Card.
    • Original book of Household Register
  • IT must contain up-to-date information of all family member records of 6 months from the application date at least.
  • If the Household Register does not contain the records of all family members, you must Submit a Certificate of Relationship of your family which can be obtained form the local police office.
  • If you are currently enrolled in a university and your name is not on the Household Register of your family, you need to get the household Register form the university and submit it additionally.
    • Employment Certificate of the applicant’s father of mother.
  • It must show the institution’s name, employment period, position, and phone number.
  • If it is in Chinese, a Korean or English translation must be attached.
  • A private company owner must submit a photocopy of Business Registration Certificate.
    • Certificate of Balance
  • You must submit a scanned copy of the bankbook along with Certificate of Balance.
  • It must show that the owner has deposited US $ 10,000 or more for 30 days or more as the date the statement was issued.
  • The deposit date, Issuance date and period of frozen account must be included.

Reminders

  • Admitted students who are expected to graduate high school and complete the Korean language course must secure the graduation certificate and the completion certificate of the Korean language course at the beginning of the semester, otherwise admission will be cancelled.
  • If any of the application documents contain false information or forgery, admission will be cancelled immediately.
  • If it is found that an applicant is admission cancellation due to the mistakes made on the application, missing documents, and unfulfilled entry procedures.
  • DST is not responsible for admission cancellation due to the mistakes made on the application, missing documents, and unfulfilled entry procedures.
  • All accepted applicants must complete all admission and registration procedures before the deadline. If the tuition fee is not paid on the deadline, admission will be cancelled.
  • Regulations of the DST are applied to the items that are not defined on this prospectus and other particulars are decided by the Committee of the Admission Screening for International Students.

  • Class start: March and September every year
  • Terms: 2 year course (4 semesters), 3 year course (6 semesters)
  • Enroll Credit: 16-24 credits every term
  • Required Credits for graduation: Dept. of Nursing, Dept. of Clinical Pathology, Dept. of Medical information, Dept. of Early Childhood Education
    • 120 credits, other departments
    • 80 credits
  • Strict Student Management
    • Strict academic advisor system
    • Temporary absence from school is prohibited without permission of release
    • If students permanently leave the school of indicate temporary absence form school, they should return back to their own country.
    • Illegal secession and illegal employment are strictly prohibited.
